Coronavirus – Here’s What You Can Do At Home

The current coronavirus outbreak has left more than half the world locked down in their houses. Social distancing and self-quarantine are important to prevent the virus from spreading. At this time people across America are also advised to stay at home. But staying at home for weeks together without meeting friends, going out for a drink or to the movies, can be too much of an ask.

Sitting home and watching news can be depressing, you’d be rather alright not listening to all that happening around the world right now. Binge watching movies and series on Netflix may be good for a while. But doing so for weeks together can make you the ‘couch potato’. Social media again can be very overwhelming with information from across the globe. What you really need is a little constructive activity to keep you busy, active and spirited. If you are wondering how to see this time through, here are some activities that you would keep you positively occupied and lively.

  • Make a routine. Write it down. Your wake-up time, workout, breakfast and so on.
  • Have all your meals, do not skip meals. You need all the energy and immunity to fight this virus. Eat healthy.
  • Workout. This is the healthiest way to happiness. Follow a fitness plan on YouTube or make one with your friends and share.
  • Dress up. after you take your shower, dress up well. This will help staying spirited. Shabby dressing can be depressing.
  • Clean the house. A messy home is not welcoming. You wouldn’t want to be in an untidy place for weeks.
  • Clean your wardrobe. Take out all the things you don’t really wear or haven’t worn in the last one year or more. keep the disposed clothes in a box neatly. You can give it away to charity once the lockdown is over. Make place for new things in your closet. Once the lockdown is over, you would want to shop for your new wardrobe. Use coupons (www.geoqpons.com) for your shopping.
  • Clean the house like you’ve cleaned your closet. Dispose everything you don’t need. Make a list of the things you need. Clearly list down the budget so that you know how much you can spend.
  • Make time for that hobby, that one thing you’ve always wanted to do – a journal, crafts, a new language, baking, anything and everything you’ve always wanted to do.
  • Chase that secret dream. Always wanted to become a youtuber? Blogger? Knitting or crochet? Hand made greeting cards? Now is a great time to chase that dream.
  • Stay connected with your friends. This will keep your spirits up and you wont be sucked in loneliness.

Now, more than ever, it’s important to do the right thing. This testing time is also an opportunity to step back, stay and reemerge as the new you, the one who got lost in the every-day grind. From all of us at GeoQpons – stay happy, stay safe.
